Recommended Products

I have spent hundreds of hours researching and using hair removal and skin care products. The following items are those that I use myself and I can proudly recommend without hesitation.

Keep in mind that not everything I recommend is the absolute top of the line or most expensive. These are the items I use that I’ve found to work great while also being affordable.

Hair Removal Products

Favorite Epilator: Braun Silk-épil 9 9-521

This is the epilator I’m currently using and I love it. It’s a wet/dry cordless epilator that works well on all hair types plus has tons of extra things that make it easier to use including an LED light and a pivoting head.

Favorite Cheap Epilator: Emoji Epi Slim

I bought this to use for facial hair and found that it works really well for underarms as well. I recommend this for beginners who are not sure if they can handle the pain of epilation. This lets you test it out without spending a lot. Then you can upgrade to a better epilator later and still have this to use on your face or as a travel epilator.

Safey Razor: Feather Double Edge Shaving Razor

When I actually shave, I use this safety razor. It’s not the best safety razor on the market, but it is affordable and works fine. I’ve had it for at least seven years now and it has held up amazingly well. It’s definitely worth what I paid for it.

Safety Razor Blades: Derby Extra

These are cheap but still leave me with smooth results for leg and undearm hair. They have saved me so much money over the years. Before I started using an epilator, I used these daily. A box would last a whole year or more.

Skin Care Products

Jojoba Oil: Hoba Care

I have used Hoba Care jojoba for myself and on clients in my massage practice for years. It works great as a natural moisturizer for the skin, hair, and nails. It’s non-allergenic and won’t clog pores. It also never goes rancid which means it lasts a long time without refrigeration. You simply can’t go wrong with jojoba.

I buy this stuff in bulk, but you can also get small quanities of it on Amazon.

Coconut Oil: Sky Organics Fractionated Coconut Oil

This is the coconut oil I use for massage and DIY spa products. I also use it as a moisturizer for hair. Fractionated oil doesn’t go rancid as quickly and doesn’t leave gross-smelling stains in towels and clothing. It also doesn’t feel greasy like regular coconut oil does.

Nail File: Malva Belle Crystal Nail File

I used to go through tons of disposable nail files until another massage therapist told me to get this file a few years ago. It’s uber gentle on my nails and has saved me tons of money.
